Abstract

Childhood is a specific and very important period from human development. A period of physical maturity, active intellectual and social development. The methodological formulation is that the children`s social development is implemented in the context of their interaction with the social environment. So one of the priority tasks- to lay the foundations for developing social skills, necessary to live in a society- is set in the years of the nursery school. This task urges the teacher to diagnose continuously mastering social knowledge and skills for social actions. The teacher has to create such conditions that the child would be able to participate gradually and consequently, confidently and adequately to the situation in the life of the children micro group and the adult group, to communicate without conflicts or to deal with them, to keep positive attitude towards themselves, other children and adults. The holiday calendar in the life of the kindergarten is a reliable instrument for their development.

Abstract

The article deals with the problem of motivational component improvement in present-day education. The authors made the survey of a possibility to provide closer relation of educational programs to systematic reference to human basic needs in educational and self-educational process. As a main way to optimize the nature and results of the present-day education the authors suggest forming personally and socially optimal content, hierarchy, orientation of the world outlook and motivational sphere of people involved in the educational and professional training process by giving systematic information to all individuals about new ways and means of satisfying their basic needs, as well as the use of optimal forms of stimulating the assimilation and use of this information. Such motivational correction programs will succeed if they simultaneously influence the conscious and the unconscious, altruistic and selfish, conservatively and progressively oriented components of the personality structure, combine the security and efficiency of the proposed methods and means of educational, professional and other activities. These changes must be made on the basis of modern European concept of universal human values added by the theory information support of human needs formation and manifestation elaborated by representatives of anthropological and psychological science.

Application of active learning methods in formation of tolerance of future officers of the National Guard of Ukraine

Abstract

Ways of formation tolerance of future officers of the National Guard of Ukraine are presented. One of the most expedient means to achieve the objective of the interactive methods of training, namely, socio-psychological training, is identified. The grid of the training, its purpose and the content, which allow for formation of tolerance in military operations of future officers of the National Guard, taking into account its specifics, were stated. Training on the formation of tolerance in the system of studying military disciplines is defined as the possibility to form stress resistance to the adverse factors aligned with the professional activity of the servicemen of the National Guard of Ukraine and as an active way of influencing the behavior of social actors in any situations of military operations.

The training is offered to include exercises aimed at psychodiagnosis and assessment of personal tolerance, development of the sense of mutual understanding between participants in the process, development of social perception and skills to express negative feelings tolerantly (not aggressively).

Brain fitness as a teaching innovation and educational paradigm

Abstract

In the up-to-date information society of great importance are the skills of quick processing of information, the ability to evaluate and use it appropriately. At the same time, a decrease in developing intellectual loads leads to a weakening of cognitive abilities and the loss of cognitive functions. One of the key places in the development and continued cognitive capabilities is brain training, brain fitness. A system of exercises for improvement of cognitive function - brain fitness (cognitive training) - will help to maintain an appropriate level of cognitive ability, be prepared for intellectual activity, regardless of the scope. In order to solve the problem comprehensively and introduce brain fitness as a must-have component of modern education, it is necessary to investigate the background of the situation, to consider the benefits and prospects of the proposed innovation implementation in great detail. Modern education requires systemic changes by shifting the emphasis from the importance of accumulating knowledge to the need in developing competencies to provide their optimal usage and adaptation.

Abstract

The article justifies the needs of using active and interactive methods of learning in Higher Education Establishments. On the basis of analyzed scientific and pedagogic works and on the basis of summing up the students’ needs there are distinguished such active methods of learning as: projecting, modulating of professional situations, games, case study, quest technologies, etc., which are focused on the demands of society, on individuality of future expert, on development of his/her cognitive motivation, on active participation in self-development and on the process of acquiring professional competences. It proposes some recommendations concerning the introduction of active methods into the educational process. The authors prove the fact that the use of active and interactive methods in the process of specialists’ training in Higher Education Establishments helps to develop learning motivation, to form the skills of team-working as well as it will lead to effective learning of educational materials and will initiate the conscious professional competency.
