Abstract

Over the years the education sector has evolved significantly, transforming the way teaching-learning happens. The surge in the use of internet users has propelled the growth of digital technology in all the sectors, specifically education. Digitalization has exposed learners to alternate forms of acquiring knowledge and skills, challenging the present status quo of traditional teaching and learning. Remote teaching is an innovative way of bridging cultural and geographical distances and enables teaching to students who otherwise would not have the opportunity. This research paper explores the use and familiarity of remote teaching tools in college students. It endeavors to explore the various tools used for remote education. This research paper comprehends and analyses the significance of the tools for Synchronous learning. It recognizes the usefulness of these tools and does a comparative analysis of these tools. The study also compares the familiarity of these tools to teachers and learners. This research paper provides insights into the tools that could be used by the teachers in order to make learning impactful.
