Abstract

Education is dead, long live education! If this statement sounds like an exaggeration to you, just read the academic report herein! Without any doubt educational systems, with rare exceptions, have been experiencing severe crisis around the world. In 2017 the World Bank warned of “learning crisis” in global education. Indeed education has reached “the point of no return”: It will either lead the world to the path towards spiritual and economic prosperity, or will become part of its erosion, because «a man can become man only through education» (Kant, 1910, p. 42). Indeed, while taking into account the instrumental role education has in forming the human resources and thus the future economic and spiritual perspectives, the authors of the report have come up with a compelling road map to be applied in solving the educational conundrum. What is more, it has been already successfully applied for the last academic year 2017 -2018 in the Private High School of Tourism and Entrepreneurship Rayko Tsonchev, Dobrich, Bulgaria, under the brand of the Bulgarian Ministry of Education “innovative school”.
